Frequently Asked Questions (Updated Feb 2015)

What is LA/GS?

LA Game Space is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization for exploring and expanding the potential of videogames as a creative medium. We foster interdisciplinary collaboration, promote meaningful new work, and perpetually ask “what can videogames be?”.

What events does LA/GS offer?

Our programming is ongoing: In 2013, we released Experimental Game Pack 01 with a huge selection of games created for LA/GS by a diverse group of creators. In 2014, we tested groundbreaking exhibition concepts at Ghosting.tv. In 2015 and 2016, we're kicking off several recurring event series (Soft Detours, Future Crew, Things on Screens, and In Conversation).

The exchanges, practices, and innovations that flourish at LA/GS events reach far beyond videogames to touch the arts, design, technology, and all disciplines that thrive from interdisciplinary thinking and collaboration. (Our events are open to all and we hope to see you sometime!)
